My Anti Myopia Journey with AMC
"Contact Lenses Change My Life"
Initially, I wore glasses to help correct my vision, however, not only did they do little to prevent the worsening of my vision, they also were very inconvenient, especially if I was doing exercise, as they would easily be damaged if a ball hit my face. Later, after my parents heard about Vivienne and Gina’s place, I learned that I would possibly switch to contact lenses instead of wearing glasses. Initially, this was a slightly intimidating concept, as I needed to place my fingers in my eyes. Later, as I was trialling the contacts, this proved to be rather tricky, as my contacts kept on falling out whenever I tried to place them in my eyes. However, with the support of Gina and Vivienne, I was able to successfully wear contacts. Ever since, I have never regretted the decision of choosing to wear contact lenses over glasses. Not only have they prevented my vision from increasing, they have also boosted my confidence . I greatly thank both Vivienne and Gina for providing me with this opportunity.

"I Feel Confidence and Able To Do Sports Safely"
When I was in primary school, my vision had already started to get worse and to fix this, my parents had to make me wear glasses. The problem was that the glasses were too fragile. For example, I was playing a game of tag with my friends and I tripped over. The impact caused my glasses to fly off my face and hit the ground and they snapped in half. I also have a passion for music and whenever I go on stage to perform, the glasses would constantly shake, making me lose confidence and also proving to be very inconvenient. What was worse was that glasses weren't really helpful. Every time I had to check my eyes, my prescription kept getting worse. Then one of my mum’s friends came along and recommended contact lenses. Contacts have many pros, they make you feel like a normal person, being able to do sports and play safely with everybody else in school. When I first wore the contacts, it took me many tries and I appreciate Vivienne's patience. Gina and Vivienne checked my eyes very thoroughly every 3 months and they gave me many suggestions. What was even better, for the next year and a half, my eyes have not gotten worse. I thank Gina and Vivienne for allowing me to try these contacts as they have made my life much better.

My myopia kept adding & adding, and I tried so Vivian & Gina decided to give me Ortho-K lenses to try. They are specially designed only for your eyes.
We only waited for a few days, and my customized Ortho-K lends were ready to pick up. As I got there, Gina told me all the details about how to wear the lenses, how to clean them, and how to take care of them. I liked the little tools that I used to take off my lenses, and I also liked to watch the lenses when I put them into the cleaning case to see all the bubbles going up. They all make my Ortho-K experience funnier!
From that day on, my world has suddenly turned clear & bright. I have gotten quite happy too. Now it has changed my life, and I’m very glad to have them.
