What is Ortho-K?

Orthokeratology or "Ortho-K" or "overnight lenses" are a non-surgical treatment to correct vision issues like short-sightedness (myopia), astigmatism or hyperopia (long-sightedness).

It uses specially designed contact lenses to reshape the front surface of the eye (cornea).

While wearing these lenses overnight while you sleep, the required correction is temporarily "imprinted" on the cornea.

This allows you to see clearly during the daytime, without the need for glasses or soft contact lenses.

Ortho-K can be a suitable option for vision correction in both children and adults.

Whether you want to improve your vision, your appearance, your confidence, or your quality of life, ortho-k can help you achieve your goals.

Contact us today to schedule an "Ortho-k Consultation" to see if this is an option for you.

Is Ortho-K Safe?

Yes! Ortho-K lenses were the original lenses shown to slow down the progression of short-sightedness in children and adolescents. They were the first lenses approved by the U.S. FDA for myopia management. Ortho-K has been proven to be safe and effective by many scientific studies under the experienced specialist and proper lens care.
